Since 2016, Marcel Obermeyer and Christian Scholz have been leading the company together.
Company history
After many years of involvement in motorsport, Marcel Obermeyer founded D&M Motorsport as a sole proprietorship in 1998, operating from the premises of a former craft business.
Following the company’s transition to a wholesale business model in 1999, D&M Motorsport GmbH was established in 2001. Due to the company’s strong growth and successful development, D&M moved into new, modern business premises in the Ostkilver industrial area in September 2008.
With a warehouse covering more than 1,000 m² and equipped with a state-of-the-art shelving system, D&M is able to offer a significantly broader product range, greatly improve product availability, and, since 2024, serve as the European distributor for Duro kart tyre.
Today, D&M Motorsport proudly looks back on more than 25 successful years in the racewear, karting, and motorsport parts industry. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all our customers for their trust and many years of loyalty.
